Case Studyo and Piet Parra present another limited-edition collaboration, this time in the form of a hand tufted rug. It shows a female figure in a classic monochromatic Parra design, “showing her softest side, inviting you to take a rest beside her”, according to Case Studyo.

Amsterdam based graphic artist and illustrator Piet Parra (pseud. of Pieter Janssen) was born in 1976. He is widely known for his bird-like characters and figures, as well as his use of vibrant colours. Celebrated through solo exhibitions since 2005 encompassing galleries and museums in Europe, the United Stated and Asia, the largely self-taught artist began his career drawing flyers and posters for music venues in Amsterdam in the 1990s. He has collaborated with brands such as Nike, Patta, and Case Studyo, and is the co-founder and creative mind behind the apparel label ByParra.
