  • Daniel Arsham (b. 1980) makes installations and objects that conjure a kind of mythical contemporary archaeology. His oeuvre comprises film, painting, sculpture, and installation, mostly with the use of recognizable forms: “So much of my work is about making architecture do things that it really shouldn’t do, making it perform in unexpected ways, and collapsing the materiality of it”, according to the artist himself. Arsham collaborated with large brands including Adidas, Dior, and Porsche and has exhibited in numerous famous galleries all over the world. Together with Alex Mustonen he founded Snarkitechture, a New York-based collaborative design studio, responsible for the design of the KITH stores worldwide.
